The Canadian Rockies National Park complex is a breathtaking alpine landscape covering 23,000 square kilometers in the southwestern provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.

The complex comprises four national parks: Banff National Park, Jasper National Park, Yoho National Park, and Kootenay National Park. Together, they offer visitors a stunning display of peaks, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, gorges, and limestone caves.

Banff National Park, the oldest national park in Canada, is located in the northern section of the Rocky Mountains, approximately 110-180 kilometers west of Calgary, Alberta.

Banff National Park covers 6,641 square kilometers and is home to glaciers, hot springs, pine forests, and lakes, supporting a diverse range of flora and fauna, many of which are endangered. Therefore, it is vital to be aware of ecological conservation while enjoying the park's beauty.

Yoho National Park, another park in the complex, is located in British Columbia and is centered around the Joho Creek Valley, nestled between snow-covered mountains at an altitude of 3,000 meters.

Yoho" means "spectacular" in the local Aboriginal language, and the park indeed lives up to its name. The Tuckahoe Falls on the Yoho River drop 348 meters, providing visitors with a breathtaking sight.

Emerald Lake, the largest alpine moraine lake in Yoho National Park, is known as the Emerald of the Rockies. The lake is comparable to the sapphire Lake Louise in Banff National Park and is a popular destination for visitors.

Upon arriving at the shores of Emerald Lake, visitors will witness the sunlight peeking in and out of the clouds, causing the water to change color from pale green to turquoise, rich green, and dark green.

It's like looking at a giant abstract painting. The lake and mountains' beauty are indescribable, from the rolling hills in the distance to the lush forests in the near distance.

At the edge of the lake is a long wooden bridge leading to an ancient inn built on moraine rocks. The inn has rooms hidden deep in the shade of the forest, and spending a night there feels like a divine experience.

The Canadian Rockies National Park complex is a marvel of natural beauty that must be on every traveler's bucket list. Banff National Park, Jasper National Park, Yoho National Park, and Kootenay National Park provide an awe-inspiring experience that can't be found anywhere else in the world.

Visitors must be mindful of ecological conservation while enjoying the parks' beauty and help preserve this stunning natural wonder for generations to come.
