Hand-made natural soap can avoid this problem, it adds the ingredients not only to clean and effective skincare but will not cause irritation and impact on the face.

Homemade natural soaps are generally made from vegetable oils such as olive oil, palm oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, rosehip oil, and so on.

And then there is sodium hydroxide, pure water or dairy products, and so on.

As there are many kinds of recipes for homemade soap, different recipes use different raw materials, here is the simplest way to do rose oil soap.

You need to prepare 60 drops of rose essential oil, 60 drops of geranium essential oil, 10 drops of rosemary and thyme essential oils, and sodium hydroxide, pure water, or dairy products.

2. Make the lye

Put on gloves and a mask, and make lye from sodium hydroxide and purified water.

Note that sodium hydroxide is corrosive, so do not touch your skin, and be sure to take protective measures.

Keep the made lye solution at a temperature of about 90 degrees and heat the oil to about 140 degrees.

Pour the oil slowly into the lye solution, pay attention not to pour it at once, you can pour it slowly several times while pouring and stirring it.

So that the two are quickly and evenly mixed, this process takes about half an hour or so, and you need to constantly stir.

4. Add essential oils

After stirring until the mixture becomes viscous, you can add all kinds of essential oils to it, such as rose essential oil, geranium essential oil, and so on, but also several plant powders.

And then continue to stir until the essential oils are fully integrated into the soap solution, and when it becomes viscous, pour it into the mold.

5. Into the mold to dry

Cover the mold with plastic wrap and place it inside a box made of pine wood and leave it in the shade for 4-5 days with the wind.

After drying, the alkalinity will be lower, but it needs to be left for 1-2 months so that it will be fully saponified and the quality will become better for use.
